Falkirk Wheel : The Falkirk wheel is a magnificent piece of engineering, taking canal boats from the Forth & Clyde Canal to the Union Canal. It was built as part of the Millennium celebrations, and replaces a flight of locks.

Forth & Clyde Canal : The Forth and Clyde Canal runs from the Firth of Forth at Grangemouth to the Clyde at Bowling. We joined it at Falkirk and went to Bowling and back. The whole canal was rebuilt as part of a Millennium project.
