MCC Land's End - Bikes at Plusha Start : The Land's End Trial is a long distance reliability trial organised bythe MCC, the Motor Cycling Club. Over 300 competitors start on Friday Night from 4 different locations in South West England , and ride or drive overnight, finishing at the spectacular Blue Hills Section on the Cornish Coast by St. Agnes. MCC Land's End 2008 Bikes at Blue Hills 2 : After Darracott I drove for about two hours down to Blue Hills, this is spectacular track rising steeply up along the coast, with a nasty little deviation at the top for most of the competitors. Although the Photographs show a mostly sunny day, it was bitter cold with a strong wind blowing in from the sea. This whipped up the dust.

MCC Land's End 2008 - Cars at Darracott : I don't think too many cars came through Darracott before I got there, but I had to leave before the end of the cars to ensure that I would see most of the competitors through Blue Hills, about a 2 hour drive away.

MCC Land's End 2008 - Cars at Blue Mills 2 : As stated under the Bike Section, athough Blue Hills looked nice and sunny it was in reality bitter cold with strong winds. Look how well wrappd up the spectators are! It still proved a wonderful place to photograph most of the competitors. Unfortunately by about 5:15 in the evening the light was going, I was seizing up with the cold and I had a four hour drive to get home, so I left before the last few cars came through.
