Kyrle Trial - 2008, Jack & Jill : Jack and Jill are two of my favorite sections with plenty of action, and enogh space between the trees for reasonable photographs. This year it was very muddy, particularly at the turn just after the start. This meant competitors were struggling to build up enough speed to climb the steeper higher slopes.

Kyrle Trial - 2008, High Hope : High Hope was a new section, remotely situated down a long and rough track, based around a ruined farm. The section started around the farm buildings, climbed up the side of a field, levelled off, a little, before going through a gateway where the restart originally for all classes, but reduced to classes 8,7,& 6, as the mud here got deeper, before heading up a rutted track to the Section end. It was here that I managed to get my car bogged down twice. Thanks to all those who helped me to get away. Now you know why I take photos and don't enter events!
