The Pre-War Austin Sevens Club winter Trial was held ar Butts Quarry in Derbyshire on the 28th December. There were nearly 40 cars present, each doing the circuit, once before lunch and once after. The Austins were split about 50/50 between special and Chummy's so I split the galleries in the same way

There were very few saloons, but those therer seemed to perform very well in an event that I wouldn't have thought they were ideal for.

The other Marques included Ford Model A's, a Batten - a Ford Model A special, Alvis, MG, Riley and a Vernon Derby. Sadly a Bugatti appeared to have failed early on and the 30/98 Vauxhall never made an appearance.
