The Section at Tillerton steep was an old unsurfaced road, leading straight up the valley side, replaved by a newer metalled road.  It was very rough and rocky, and the climb was made more difficult with a restart for Classes 7 and 8.  It started with the bikes at 7:30 in the morning, so most of the field went by in daylight.
